Silver glitter looks for weddings, hen parties and prom
Published
Weddings, proms and birthday parties are named on both Glitzify listings. A light mist of silver is enough for a ceremony; a second layer is ready for the dance floor.
6 silver glitter looks for weddings, hen parties and prom
Wedding guest
Keep it light: one mist through the ends of your hair, or across your shoulders, for a subtle shine that still photographs.
Hen party
Silver layered along the part in your hair for the whole group, and a mist on a sash or a veil laid flat and dried first.
Prom
Silver through an up-do or the ends of your hair, and a light mist across your collarbone, matched to a silver, black, white or navy outfit.
Birthday party
Layer the spray through your hair for more intense sparkle, so the birthday person is easy to spot.
Bridal party
The same light mist through every bridesmaid's hair, so the group matches.
Evening reception
Add a second layer to your hair after the ceremony, ready for the dance floor.
How to spray it, for every look
- Give the can a good shake. The rattle is the mixing bead, keeping the glitter evenly spread.
- Hold it 20-30 cm (8-12 in) from your hair, body or clothes.
- A light mist gives a subtle shine; layer it for more intense sparkle.
- Allow about a minute to dry, and you're ready to go. It stays all night.
Afterwards, rinse it out of your hair and off your skin with shampoo or hand wash.
Safety
- The spray is flammable: use it away from candles, sparklers and open flames.
- Keep it away from your eyes, and do not use it on broken skin.
- For ages 16 and over.
